Oh my, I never thought of it as adding to the rails. Aren't you the clever one!

Who knows if I even got right. But this jumped out at me:

We'll see. I'm outta here now for now.

Although, now that I'm rereading it yet again, I'm wondering if it was 4 small Rail Fence blocks together in a larger block?
But I think the scale might be a bit too small for a king size quilt

I'll just wait for Aully to comment.
    Outta here. For real.

Okay, So I have already cut the 3 strips and stitched them all toghether, they are 4.75" by 5.75" I wan't to add 2 more strips onto them so it will be a 5 row rail fence instead of 3. The strips by themself measure 4.75" by 1 7/16.

I am begining to think it may not fit my bed our bed is 94" by 115.5". Which is fine. I do not wan't the quilt top square lol!

MTS you are amazing thanks with your help and all the others as well. :)

I only have 100 strips of each colour, I think I have more of the blue (which I have not cut yet)

I don't mean to be a pain, but I keep coming back to the fact that rail fence blocks are square, so they measure the same both ways. I don't know how you would put them together if they aren't.

LOL I just realized that too, I guess I will stick to the original plan and maybe just add more borders or something.

    Thanks all for helping!

I'm playing around. I'll be back later. ;-)
Just let me know what are the colors of the 3 rails you've already sewn together.

The first row is red, second is white, third is tan. The red and tan rows have reindeer in them. :)
