    Just finished this quilt and the border fabric I bought just does not work. Not sure if I should just leave it alone or go shopping. It is mostly batik.

    How fun and colorful. I love it! It kind of has a border with the sashing so unless you want it bigger-why spend the money? It looks great as is.

    I would border it with the blue batik used for the sky in each block then bind it in the darker blue...or even perhaps do a piano key border using all the colors used inhte quilt...you did a great job BTW...I love the wonky lighthouses

    I usually like a border, but this is one that doesn't need it. I'd leave it just like it is. It's really cute!

    What a fun quilt! I agree if you don't need it bigger then why bother! If you do need it bigger, pick a color from the lighthouses. Thanks for sharing!

    I'll lay it out with the light blue as a border and the dark blue as the binding and see how it looks. Thanks for the input.

    The pattern is from With Needle and Thread. She has some really cute patterns.
