I just saw a product in the Clotilde catalog (or is it Clothilde?) - it even had a picture of a doily and a tea towel which was supposed to have been whitened by that product. Sorry don't recall the name but you can go online to their site and check.

I have used both Efferdent and Restoration (not at the same time!) and both are great products for getting stains out. Both would work well for an over all removal from a fabric. You should crush the Efferdent tablet up before you use it; it used to come as a powder, but no longer. Worked better as a powder. Very gentle on cloth. Same as Restoration, which you have to leave to soak, although I always use a Color Catcher with that one. Another soap great for small stains and dirt is plain, old Fels Naptha Soap. It comes in bars if you've never seen it. Just wet it and rub it on the stain, let it sit, and toss in the wash. This is actually great for any kind of stain, quilting and non-quilting, much gentler on the fabric, and a lot cheaper than all those sprays and sticks and what-not.
Hope you get your marks out!
