Help and suggestions with quilting a " huge"Bargello

Thank you for all your replies, They have been very helpful. I was a bit concerned about the quilting , because of the size, but now feel I will be able to manage it. I can't thank you enough for taking the time and trouble to respond to my post.

Very pretty, and I love the color scheme!! Bargello is one of my favorite genre.
I can't help you with the QAYG method ... never been down that road. BUT .. if you go that route remember that if you use any kind of quilting design that follows your bargello design - your going to have to match it on each of the quarters (meaning the quilting lines from one section to the next should match to form a continuous line!). That could be tricky!! There are other ways to handle larger pieces on a domestic, you might want to look into those before you commit.
As for quilting it ... I would try to make the lighter arc's "pop" by doing a dense meander or pebbling in the dark brown areas, and a perhaps feathers or another medium-dense design in the red areas. Outline the light areas and put a single line in the darker fabric strip in the middle of the light arcs.
