I need some ideas for 9 year neice's quilt! I took her fabric shopping and she picked out two shades of blue and i will add more of my choices too! I thought about a log cabin block! I want to make it like a small lap blanket! so any ideas would help!! Thanks

I have made my great niece a log cabin, I love them as they can look different with color selection and placement. Go for it, she'll love it no matter the pattern. :D
