Do any of you know the name of this pattern? I am trying to help a friend find it. Her gg made a quilt using this block.

yes and she seemed to have made flying geese for the ones that go outside the gold square. lovely.

Looks like the Dresden Plate spread out over a large square. I don't see the Flying Geese??

to me, it looked like the dresdens ended flat ended at the gold fabric and a flying geese finished off the points on some. maybe not though. hard to tell from the photo.
