If you have pieced a block together measure so that you have 1/4 inch seam allowance past the outer points, that is the important part of that trim

i realized center sq was not sq so took it apart it is 11 still need another color

I love your center fabric and completely understand why you looked for a pattern you could use big pieces.

My biggest problem with patterns done like she shows, is that your outside edges are all bias.
