I like the blue. Can't believe you think it's an ugly quilt, it's great looking. If you really can't stand it you can send it to me, I'll give it a good home, LOL! May in Jersey

The white. Blue, yellow and white is one of my favorite combos. Maybe use the blue for a boarder.

Your quilt is lovely. Personally I would use a blue but a darker color blue. I would also use a yellow polka dot binding.

When I look at your picture and then visualize them in my mind's eye, I see two different quilts out of those very simple but beautiful blocks.
The White sashing calls out summer and sunlight and old fashioned bedrooms. With a larger white border you could make it more 'feminine' and old fashioned with a little applique to break up the white.
The blue one is more comfy cozy snuggly in the winter type of quilt. Corner stones in the border is what jumps at me and I see a little homespun or small plaid for those and the binding.
With all the advise and varied comments you have received, I think the message we're sending is ..go with your feelings, Well done! and don't be so hard on yourself.

I prefer the white on your very pretty quilt. It reminds me of summer at the ocean (it has a light, sunny feeling).

I prefer the blue and I agree with everyone - no quilt is ulgy! Blue/yellow is very pretty together. Keep us posted on what you decide. Thanks for sharing.

I recently did a baby quilt in blue and yellow and ended up putting yellow sashing between the rows and blue on the outside. It was gorgeous. Unfortunately I did not take a picture.
I think you have done a great job with your 4-patches and was thinking about yellow sashing too. Otherwise, I like the blue sashing a little better than white. You go girl.

I like the blue! My only suggestion would be to play with the blocks and try different combinations; for instance, place the blocks with the dk bl patches in a diagonal pattern from one corner, alternate with the lighter colors. I think your blocks are bee-yoo-ti=fullllll!
