the reason the blocks look so different is case it never felt
"right" and so I kept buying more fat quarters lol. I am going to do the" Irish chain" or try and match the blocks up. Then put dk blue and a yellow border around it. not sure with order till I get my crayons out....I finally got some graph paper to try and plot this thing. Lots of lessons have been learned on this adventure. The most important ! Have a Plan!!! and don't buy 10 yds of blue fabric that u don't need.

I like the blue. White is nice, too. But, I vote for blue.
And it's definitely not Ugly! You've done a good job. It is very Spingy.

You are a very sweet person to give the ugly quilt person a link to such a nice blue/yellow site . Not everyone would think to do that. And of course the quilt is not ugly.

How about very pale yellow sashing and a dark blue binding?

I recently quilted a 4-patch comfort quilt that another guild member put together from miscellaneous blue and red squares of donated fabrics. I didn't have too much hope for it when I first saw the top, but you wouldn't believe how pretty it was after it was finished, and I didn't do anything fancy with the quilting. (Sorry, I forgot to take pictures.)
I was thinking on the same lines. No sashing! I like the idea of the borders and the binding will look great because I've done scrapy bindings on several quilts and it looked great. But whatever you decide it will look great (not ugly). Believe in yourself.
