I need help!! I am working on the quilt "Silent Beauty" by Quilt Gate (fabric by Robert Kaufman) - I have half square triangles ready to accept a "Quick Angled Corner". The directions say "place a 1 1/2' Fabric D square on one corner of each of the above half square triangles, right sides together. Sew along the diagonal and trim excess fabric to 1/4", press toward the outside." I have placed the square on the half square triangle but haven't a clue how to put the units together.
Hoping someone has breezed through these directions and can help me break through!!

    Appreciate ANY help!!
    Carole

I had to go look up the pattern because I didn't know what it was. After sewing the triangles together, draw a diagonal line on the back of the small square, place the square in the corner right sides together and sew on the diagonal. your diagonal line should cross over the seam of the big square. Trim to 1/4" and press open.
    Hope this helps.

Thank you so very, very much!! I knew that I was doing something wrong, now this makes sense. Wanting to do one so that I can see it all come together. Following the instructions you gave, then I should be able to put the next half triangle on.
    Thanks again!

kd124, I'd like to ask you a question too..... how did you get that illustration to show here? Did you draw it and take a picture of it, and then post it?
