If you haven't put the binding on yet, make two squares about 5", fold each in half, place one on each upper corner of the backing, matching raw edges, baste in place, then sew the binding on. Use a small dowel, tucked into the pockets, to hang the quilt. Search the web for hidden triangles quilt hanging method for a better explanation. Heard it snowed just north of Duluth last week.

One if my friends came back from a road trip (cycle) and stopped at the cabin at Island Lake before heading to Florida. Tree down across the road, and he said it sniwed while he was cutting up the tree to move it.

I just make a simple pocket the width of the fabric, turn the ends under twice and [;ace the raw edge inside the binding. Then I hand whip stitch the folded side of the pocket down to the back of the quilt.

I use the corner triangles on my smaller wall hangings. For the 9 inch and smaller wall hangings I use 3 inch squares ironed on the diagonal and sewn in when the binding goes on. I just finished a series of 14, 8 x 22 inch wall hangings. I use a new, unsharpened pencil to hang them with. I'll post pics pretty soon so watch for them!
