Hi, my name is Kathy and I'm an addict and I need help!

LOL I just can't get enough batiks! The more I have the more I want. It's a vicious circle! :P

you are not alone. I was determined not to buy much at the recent quilt maqrket/festival but the big brown truck delieved a box this weeking containing....yes you guessed it.

65 1 yd cuts of the most wonderful batik and i don't want to cut into it now. But I got it wholesale so couldn't resist.

Batik is the only fabric that I built the stash.

ohh you need to get me into Batiks. They feel kind of itchy and tough to work with and I don't have many of them. Do they soften up considerably?

I am probably the only person on this board who doesn't care for batiks. Nearsighted, astigmatism, color challenged and double vision...batiks make my eyes crazy! I can only admire them from a distance - you know, so far away that I can't tell they're batiks!
