    the dryer is where the fluffing/fraying really happens,but if you trim your frayed edges down to 1/2" and closer together that will help,
    i take mine out of the dryer, probably at least 3 times before it's done and take it outside for a good shake, then return it (after emptying the over-flowing lint trap)it will fluff up beautifully as soon as it gets the dryer treatment.
