I visited my fabric source over the weekend and learned there will be a price increase the 1st of October. It seems we just experienced one. My stash is becoming so valuable I may have to add some insurance! lol

This is why so many are have to buy A E Nathan fabrics. Not the top of the line but not the worst. :-(

Hancock's is having a very good sale. Just pick the best quality and you'll have a good buy.

Thank you for the heads up on the fabric increase and the A E Nathan's name to add to my shortcut sources.

I buy David's Textile fabric at a nearby Walmart. I can't find a thing different from this fabric then from the nearest LQS except the price. I have tortured a piece this fabric for months and it still looks good and has not shredded or pulled from the steams. I machined quilted a large piece, and have washed and dried it with every load. That's more abuse then any quilt will get in years. It's gone through bleach water, oxyclean, washed with towels, work clothes and even floor rugs. It's $2.97 a yard.
