I would consider it a bargello. This is a good starting point in designing any number of pattern of bargello.
You can start making your blocks smaller as you go across the quilt. You could make the second vertical row 4 1/2 inches, third row 3 in. and so on down to about 1/2 in. and then increase back to the 5 in. Them repeat. You would have to make more vertical row to get the same width.

Eagerbeez, Thanks for designing this Bargello. It saved me alot of time and planning. The counts on the right are a great addition. This is one of the quilts that I plan to do in 2011.
