Bonnie Hunter has a great hexagon tutorial here http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2010/...-tutorial.html
Lots of people are using Inklingo. Uses computer and printer, prints both cutting and sewing lines on the back of your fabric. Haven't tried it yet, but everyone says it's much faster than doing it any other way. You can check it out-and print a free trial page-here http://lindafranz.com/section/inklingo-quick-start/63

"I would love to see this method, but it says: the video is not available. Do you have to be member of HGTV?"
I cannot watch USA HGTV videos. When I asked HGTV why i could not view their videos, I was told it was because of licencing agreements with Canada.

Many thanks to all of you that furnished information. My quilting friend and I had never heard of this, but her daughter in law was mentioning all the younger gals meeting and making what we now know are "hexies"! I would love to see a finished piece!
