I posted before about how I am not wifey at all. DH is not better, wiser, richer, or more educated then I am. He does not care to be bothered with me showing him what I bought and vice versa. He had a new ATV weeks before I even noticed it in his garage. He wouldn't notice the biggest long arm I could buy unless he had to set it up. He seldom comes to my sewing area. We are very independent from each other. We love, respect and trust each other and he's my best friend. But don't hover and don't smother and don't make remarks. We can't tolerate that from each other.

I never hide anything from my husband. He is my best friend and I would consider it lying if I hid anything.

I don't hide anything in our marriage, I don't point all my purchases out either. I like my space and independence, DH is ok with that! After 35 plus years of marriage, I am not about to change!

I don't hide it, I just put it away before I get caught.

I never hide fabric from my husband. He has his hobbies and I have mine. I work full time and he works full time. He respects me and I respect him. He just laughs when I buy more.

I usually go by myself DH hates shopping if he is home when I come in he'll ask and I show him. He doesn't care unless I just go shopping and don't make anything. He knows me and my shopping trips. He's good sometimes he'll tease me when I get home. I understand and also getting the pkg's of fabric are a thrill. Don't worry if you & hubby have a good relationship he gets his golf and you get the fabric. Sue

My husband has the mind set that if it is for the boats (plural) it is a necessity, everything else is a luxury. So lets just say I am quiet about my fabric purchases

I think I did it more when I was young, But now we're retired it is hard and he does give me the eye and says I need to stop. But I haven't yet. Like everyone I love fabric and getting things in the mail. We live about 2 hrs. from a store....so sad
