Default High shank adapter for Brother PQ 1500s

I found an adaptor on Amazon for a high shank machine. It is supposed to make a high shank machine that takes screw on pressor feet able to use snap on feet. I have a new PQ 1500s and a older Viking machine that takes snap on feet. Does anyone know if those adapters work and if they would work for me? I would really like to use a few of the feet that came with my Viking and I don't have the room to keep both machines set up all the time. I guess I could just order it and try it was only $4.00. I just thought I'd ask and save myself the trouble of ordering it.

I wouldn't use the snap on feet going full speed on the Brother. I have the Brother 1500 and have all the feet made for it for straight stitching. What foot do you want to use on it?

I ordered one of those for my Elna 7100 --mine cost $12--did not even come near to fitting around the post. Ended up getting one from the sewing machine store. Unfortunately, that is the only high shank mach I own.

I had an old high shank adapter. It won't fit on the shank to screw it on.

For my Bernina, I bought a low shank adapter because back in the old days, Bernina didn't even make a 1/4" foot and I wanted to use Lynn Graves (AKA as the purple lady) 1/4" foot. The shank adapter works fine for me but I would NOT use any foot that wasn't design for that series of sewing machines.

Well thanks for the help. I was wanting to use my stitch in the ditch foot for my Viking on the Brother. Maybe not such a good idea. I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and buy a new one. It was worth the try.

The walking foot is best for me doing SITD on the Brother. The quilt is fed evenly and there is plenty of room to see the needle.

There is a stitch in the ditch foot made for a high speed machine. There's a couple of generic and this Janome which works.I have a Janome narrow foot on mine.

I got a high shank adapter for my Brother 1300, a predecessor to your 1500. I used it with my 1/4" foot all the time with no issues, but the needle didn't line up properly to use my stitch in the ditch foot that came with my other Brother machine. My dream is to get the walking foot that takes different feet, but last time I looked it was still $200.
