    When I was growing up, my grandfather always told me to brush my hair outside and let the hair free for the birds. I still do this today.
    I love the idea of the cotton batting, I have lots of little bits and will put it out also.

    Wonderful Idea---I just love to watch the birds....

    We have wild turkeys but I have yet to see any
    of their nests. They do nest on the ground. It
    certainly would be interesting to see one filled
    with leftover threads and batting.....

    (BTW, have only seen one brood of baby turkeys
    this year.....usually by this time there are lots)
