When I'm cutting a pattern that has lots of cuts, I copy the fabric cutting guide (instructions) and use the copy as a guide. Every time I make a cut, I check off that line. It's sure helped this poor old mind remember what the heck I've done....especially if I get interrupted!!!! :thumbup:
on edit: from reading below it reminded me. I always write which fabric for each cut. If I have 3 colors of fabric, I decide which ones get which cuts. Especially if you're changing out the colors...it's just too easy to get mixed up.

on edit: from reading below it reminded me. I always write which fabric for each cut. If I have 3 colors of fabric, I decide which ones get which cuts. Especially if you're changing out the colors...it's just too easy to get mixed up.
