    Hi there Maus, sorry if I haven't welcomed you yet - I try to keep an eye out for fellow Aussies and Melbournians. Have you heard of the Melbourne Modern Quilt Guild? They meet every month.

    Hi Rainy Day - no I haven't heard of them (but wouldn't mind the web address) - I'm usually a lone quilter - unfortunaltely work gets in the way of my hobby !!!!

    Can someone tell me if there are a lot of quilting books that can be downloaded to the Kindle, hopefully free or at little cost. My daughter just got one and it looks like something I could enjoy. I sure would love to be able to carry lots of quilting books with me when I travel.
