MY middle DD is somewhat difficult to describe. We generally go with 'a Girly-girl who can kick you butt'.
She's really into the sophicticated '50's pink and black color ways and I'd like to do a quilt with just those two colors for her. Anyone have a suggestion for a block pattern?
I was thinking a single Irish chain maybe....

What also comes to mind is an Ohio star, but pics of the fabric would help.

This pattern is nice. Would look good in your colours.

How old is DD? Irish chain doesn't sound very much like a girly- girl who can kick butt.

Monkey wrench with differents blacks and different pinks would make an awesome quilt.
