Feel free. ANd go ahead.....a good laugh is probably a good thing. I don't mind.

I started collecting years ago, fabricoholic, spender, etc. I liked She who dies with the most fabric wins, but then I decided to share and this is what happened. It comes apart easier that it goes back together.

Under all that is a sewing table, a cutting table, ironing table, shelves on every wall, empty right now...... This makes me feel so helpless. I have people who have come over to take lots of stash and boxes full, but they did not help. SO no more visitors. My hubby shakes his head. And until it is done, I am so stressed because of it. I used to go in and sew all day, everything had a place, I loved my room. grrrrrrrrrrrr

Ok, so you do have a mess. Um.....Just think how good you will feel once you get it all cleaned and straightened up. You can always set a few piles aside to sell as soon as you are able to again so you don't have to pull it all out anytime real soon.

I would be afraid to walk into that room! :D :D

As you're putting it all away, put what you plan to sell in the future aside. Put just the things you plan to keep away in properly sorted order. Then go through all of the items you want to sell - write down price, yardage and give it a sale number, take a picture and put it in a box/bag/whatever for sale #1, then #2, and so on - put your 15 items in one box/bag/whatever and move on. Then!!!! When you are able to sell again, you have pictures taken, you can list starting with sale one - you'll have already done the sorting, measuring and picture taking, everything for that listing is in its own spot and you only have to take out that one box/bag/whatever for selling. :D

I really wish that I was closer to you. It gets me jumpy just thinking of going through all of that! I would LOVE to come visit and work on the room with you for a few days! And you could "pay" me in fabric you were going to sell anyways?? Oh well, I will just send you all the motivation I can!
    Good luck!

Prepare Hubby, when I get there in May, we are organizing that room! Sell what you can for cash......no trading until May. We'll have snacky meals, no cooking, and it will be a masterpiece when we are done!
