Every other week our Hobby Lobby will send out 40% off coupons for fabric and I also get some emailed to me.

I found out recently, that their policy is even if the fabric, say the calicos are on sale for 30% off they will take the coupon percentage instead of the sale percentage so you can get an additional 10% off!!! Would be great if JoAnns would follow suite. Also Hobby Lobby coupons can be used on regular priced items at JoAnns!! Cheryl :D

Me too I thought that you could not use it on any thing that was on on sale and their fabric was always on sell for 30% off.

I think that extra 10% depends on who you are dealing with...at the store closest to me...you can just forget about it...

The woman in the fabric dept...says NO.

I have always printed out the 40% off coupon, and used it to buy yards
and yards of Warm/Natural batting. Never a problem at check-out.

I've been told the same thing at 3 different Hobby Lobby stores: Any item that is on sale can be sold at regular price minus 40% with the coupon. The savings of that extra 10% on the cotton fabric is usually less than a dollar per yard, so unless I'm buying a large piece of fabric, or it's particularly expensive (such as the decorator fabrics), I usually prefer to use the 40% coupon on a more costly item. Another thing worth noting, if you live close enough to go frequently, is the online coupon says "One per customer per day".
