I just came back form Hobby Lobby and their fabric went up a dollar!!!! I had to go to get some basting spray and took a look at the fabric. I know some say that fabric has gone up 40 to 60 cents. I was socked that they went up a dollar on all their fabrics. :-(

Yes, but when I talked to the counter lady, she said that Hobby Lobby has pretty much been running a 30% off sale continually, so they probably raised their prices to compensate for the "sale." How silly.

They have alway had a 30% off. Now they have increase their profit by 60%. They have up it to cover the cost plus the 30%. They keep they fabric on sale so that you can not use their store coupon.

I'll be traveling to the midwest in a few days and intended to stop at a local Hobby Lobby to shop. Is the fabric good quality? And is the 30% from a coupon or just sales in the store?

It's a sale in the store. It is not the very best but it is not that bad either. It depends on what you can afford. I am trying to recover from dh losing his job and I had cancer. I praise God we still have our home and food to eat. So life is good. Some days I am able to buy fabric.

It's in store all the time. They also have a Bargain Rack that's pretty cheap. There's a nice one in Champaign Illinois. They're fabric is like most others, some of it's really good, some of it not so much. Ours has some Alexander Henry stuff and that's not bad fabric. I bought some Lion Eyes there.
