This looks great and your machine sits so well with it .

At the moment I couldn't afford the amount for a reconditioned machine like yours and also I think you get better bargains in machines and fabric in America.

Unfortunately there are a lot of us out there that just don't have the funds to get a basic set up like you have in your pic. That is my dilemma, so to get started I would rather begin with what I can afford instead of the alternative which is not quilting at all or worse by hand! But I wish I could afford that one!

I was on a board years ago with a guy who designed and built his own frame. He published the instructions for it eventually. My ex had promised to make it for me but of course never did. Richard is still selling the plans for his frame. He also offers kits and just precut parts. i am getting the Bailey 15 in a few months and am going to make this frame. Richard will answer your questions and problems by email or phone. Has a few videos also. I am pretty confident that my sis and I can do this. If anyone is interessted, I'll take pics and post my progress, problems, and success' when we start. I've got to get moved first so it will be a few months at least.

Richards website is http://buildaquiltingframe.weebly.com/index.html for anyone who is interested.
