    Default Hooked on Feathers

Do any of you feather lovers ever use the Hooked on Feathers technique and do you like it?

I have the book, have tried it for just a few minutes, but havent had time to delve into it. It is a pretty forgiving technique I think. But as with anything else will require some practice. I like to get my dry erase board out and practice on that with the book in front of me.

I love this technique. It brought my feathers to a new level of awkward. Really, I love this this method. Have never been good at feathers and this book helped tremendously.

As with all quilting, it takes practice. Paper & pencil, dry erase board, Every piece of scrap paper that comes into the house is covered in practice feathers before it is tossed.

Give it a try, It will also help with traditional feathers.

I would give it a whorl.

I feel the same way LOL! No blank sheet of paper is safe in this house! Practice practice!

I did a whole quilt border with it and it turned out quite nice, even if I say so myself.

Just bought the book last month on vacation but not do anything but skim it. Plan to delve in soon as just bought dry erase board to use for practice.
