Hoops
#5
Trying to be frugal I bought an inexpensive hoop and stand from a local store. It proved to be very wobbly and my fabric kept slipping. After much frustration I purchased an 18" Hinterberg hoop and floor stand. It was a bit more expensive but I love it...and now I quilt (stab method) with ease and joy...frustration gone.

I finally got a chance to use the "Do It All Quilter's Hoop."
It comes with two inserts, one for light duty stuff and the other for heavy stuff. So, you can use it for just regular embroidery or sandwiched quilts.
I really like the 150x150 size.
The only problem that I have had with it is the quick latch. I didn't have it in the right position when I went to close it, and a piece of plastic broke off. I was able to get it replaced for $3. The new latch is a lot nicer and it stays in place where it is supposed to so I won't have that problem again. :)
I'd recommend it.
