I am looking for a horse wall hanging pattern to make as a super special gift for a dear friend of our family. Even a horse applique` pattern that I can "play with" and make it work. If anyone can help me out, I would absolutely love it! Thank you, have a sew-wonderful day :)

How big do you want it ?

Have you tried Google and coloring pages ? They work great for applique

Last year there was a fabric line out that had horse panels , but I can't remember who made it, sorry

Here is one shop that has a bunch of horse fabric

Have you tried Four Twin Sisters? They have quite a few applique patterns and I know they have some horses in there.

This is a wall hanging I just put together. I haven't done any of the quilting on it yet, it's just the top. The pattern is called Spring Storm and is made by Bigfork Bay Cotton Company. I've seen it both as a kit and just the pattern. I just bought the pattern and picked my own fabrics.

I made two quilts and some curtain panels for my grandson using Laurel Burch line of fabrics, Mythical Horses. That may not fit with what you are trying to do but you might want to take a look.
