Maybe you and I could get together. I love to cook and hate to clean.

I used to love to entertain but I it took one day to figure out what to make and buy groceries, another day to clean the house and cook and a few hours for clean up. My husband is domestically challenged and I ended up doing everything. Too much stress! I love to cook also but I now just do it for family. Looking back to the entertaining days, I don't even know where most of those people are these days. What a waste of time!

There is a sign on my sewing room that says This mess is a place. I am thinking of putting it on the backdoor. I do keep the dishes done as the kitchen door is the door everyone uses and I think the EMTs if we have to call them will take better care if the kitchen at least looks clean.

I'd be the one that does housework and is anxious to get to my sewing room -- oh, wait -- what housework? I just go play in the sewing room!

I have 2 girls in high school ( yes, i know, don't say it!). Some days I cannot keep the house clean for nothing. We are also remodeling the kitchen... That works too, nothing in it to clean.LOL ... I still manage to quilt however when the girls come over why is it that the crisis begins!!!! The phone is ringing off the hook with this or that ( usually the kids) errrrggghhhh....

I can hear housework yelling my name.

Fortunately, I can turn down the batteries on my hearing aids, or remove them entirely, and go on sewing.

NO, I just ignore it until
I finish the project I want
    to do.
    At present a bulldozer will
    probably be needed.

Not me!.. once I'm in that sewing room, there IS no other part of the house. I use the" 5,10, 15 minute" rule; if I can do it in 5,10, or 15 minutes, I'll do it, other than that I usually get a wierd desire to clean early on Sunday mornings before breakfast.......I work a 4 day week, Fridays are my time, maybe I'll do some laundry...
