How do you calculate how many square feet your quilt is? I see that long armers charge by the foot. I am very challenged at math. I hate math. It hates me.

And how to calculate sq inches. they do it thataway too!

Measure the height and width of your quilt in feet and then multiply the two numbers together. IE: a 5 foot by 5 foot quilt is 25 square feet; a 6 foot by 5 foot quilt is 30 square feet and so on.

Since we are accustomed to measuring a quilt in inches, you can also multiple the length (in inches) by the width (in inches) and divide by 144 to get the square feet.
