I too have used stitch witchery for places like this. I just cut a small amount of stitch witchery, used a pin to poke, push, it into place then pressed it down good with my iron - has lasted for years.

a ladder stitch sounds like the best repair.

Thanks for the ladder stitch tute. I think that will work, now that I understand how to do it! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who has missed part of a seam. I really feel better about knowing I'm not alone.

That will work. I have even done this on garments to avoid having to rip open the piece.

I would use the Ladder stitch/ If done right it looks just like it was sewn by machine,& I done a lot of repairs like that and the average person cant even see it. cmaras

I appreciate all this great info - bookmarked the blind stitch and ladder stitch sites - have never heard of the ladder stitch.
