    Appliques, glitter, sequins, beads all kinds of embelishments will work well

    I agree with those who think it looks just fine as is. And I also think that once it's under the tree, it'll look EXACTLY like Christmas.

    My tree is always decorated in red and white so it looks christmasy to me...red and white and stars.
