    Anna do you know where the block that is being held up came from? Maybe you could ask them about the pattern. Of all the patterns, yours looks the hardest. 3 separate rings, and my guess all three are paper pieced. If you are choosing--I would pick something a bit easier!

    Yup pepita I am choosing something easier. I wil attempt to sew stripes, cut in wedges and applique a center on. It should look real pretty.I do not know whwere the orginal link is. I could not find it but I think I am good to go on a modified version like I mentioned above.

    I am making this polka dot quilt. It is paper pieced except for the outside arcs and the are cut from a template and sewed on the paper pieced units.

    Try the Moda site, It looks like free-bird. OR have a 9 degree angle ruler and lots of courage. Go for it. Pegeth

    I am not an expert, however it looks like strips were sewed together then the triangle slices were cut out. Good luck.
