    Thanks everyone for your help, I will try this. My DH's grandmother will love it even if it does come out a little lopsided!

    you can go to Links and resources and look for Quilting stencils . You may have to go back 4or 5 pages to find it, but i posted a few pictures of stencils that I ordered from The Stencil Company. They are the largest co. and have great prices.
