yep, clean up the work area. Sort and trim the scraps. Take pictures, and pull fabrics for the next project.

I immediately start the quilt I have been thinking about starting next while finishing it! I do clean up my areas before starting the new quilt but deal with the scraps later, all at once. I think it's more fun to have "scrap days" when I focus on cutting and sorting them into usable pieces. I get out my Go Baby and start turning things into ready-to-sew pieces, which feels really good!

Me too, me too! I'd say its the test of a true non-quilting friend. If they love you enough, they'll put up with your quilting and at least attempt to oooooh and ahhhh appropriately!

Even if I am giving away a quilt immediately, I always hang it up in my dining room for at least a month before I give it away. I take pictures and usually post on this Board. Then I go back to work on the quilt(s) I have already started.

I'm usually so happy that it is done that I try to get it to the recipient as soon as possible. I've even forgotten to take pictures!

I like validation: I've been posting here and more recently on FB.

Janice- WOW 10 years! I think we should ALL celebrate that one! Virtual Party in the chat room when Janice is done!
