avgquilter = Love the gun case idea. Your quilts are beautiful! I also love how you included the old machines!

I have a friend who purchased an oriental screen at a garage sale. It's the kind with 3 panels on hinges. She removed the panels, hangs the quilts on the bar that formerly held the panel, and rotates her quilts with the seasons. It is such a cute and effective way of displaying her quilts, I've been on the lookout for a similar screen ever since!

I have one of the glass curio type cabinets made by Kerry's Collectibles from Texas. Bought it a few years ago at one of the Pa quilt shows. It's a beautiful piece, great workmanship and I'm more than very satisfied. I have some quilts folded in it and there are also rods where you can hang quilts. Have it in my Great Room Right now have about 6 0r 7 quilts in it.
I also use quilt racks. I bought 2 at a store in Lancaster Pa. Each holds 3 at a minimum, depending how folded.
This way I get to display my work.

Here are pictures of how I display mine. I would love to throw some over the backs of my couch and loveseat, but not while the cat lives here. I had been looking for an old painters ladder and when I finally found one, couldn't get it home. So I showed my husband and he built me one. It sure helps in covering a very tall wall. The second picture is of my grandmother's cabinet. I wish I knew what she used it for. My husband refinished it for me and I have room for many more quilts. The third picture is the rail in my husband's loft overlooking our living room. I have two more sections of rail that I can use to display quilts. By the way, I love the sideways ladder in quiltstringz picture from Pinterest. Will have to show the husband that picture too.

I have a cabinet with glass that I have my old quilts in but I have a shelf over my tv that is not very tall (about 11 inches) that takes a rolled quilt very nice. (Shelf is in a book case type tv cabinet.)

This one only hangs one quilt but since I didn't see anything like it in the posts, thought I'd share. We originally saw the idea at a LQS. My DH took a look and then made on for me and one each for a few of my friends & family.
