My husband made a display ladder that is 20 inches wide , 8 ft high and 6 rungs so I can hang a few or a lot depending on how much of a quilt I want to show.

I have a quilt rack/stand in each room and one in the hallway. I found most of my quilt racks/stands at the Goodwill store for between 1.99 and 5.00, couldnt resist.

My DH has made me some beautiful oak quilt racks, a quilt curio and now is making a quilt coffee table. I too, have them on backs of couches and on quilt ladders. I love looking at them.

Seems that I have seen nice curtain rods at JoAnns, or Target, that are not to expensive. and if you recieve JOanns coupons I believe you can use them on the rods. Have been looking at the rods also, to replace junkers in my hubbys den/office for over a year but haven't bought anything yet. have fun looking!

I bought a curtain rod at Walmart for less than $15.00 and it has clips on the end of the hoops. I hang one quilt there. I want to buy some more to do the same. I haven't kept too many quilts that I have made. I have two in the living room hanging over the love seat and recliner and two on our bed (we use those quilts). The one on the curtain rod covers a window and I'm sure it is going to fade it so I think I will take it down and hang the curtain rod on a wall.

I love your idea using an embroidery hoop on the door!
