How do you all feel when you finish one?
I love all of the quilts I have made. While I feel good about giving them away I feel sad that I don't have any quilts of my own. guess I will have to make some for me - although I still have a lot of people on my list???..I don't know...

    Then why do you quilt?
because i'm an artist and i choose fabric as my medium.

i'm surrounded by other artists and they all work with different mediums and i asked them all about this type of feeling and i've found that this is an extremely common feeling amongst artists.
We are always are own worst critic...feeling we could do better. I'm just happy to have another UFO off the pile! Sometimes I wonder why I started a certain project in the first place...but I will finish them all sooner or later(can you see my fingers crossed behind my back??? lol).

This was a great thread, really made me stop and think. Some excellent advice on being kinder to ourselves.
