By the time I finish my quilt I am already quilting on my next quilt "in my mind". I also feel like I have learned something new with each quilt.:):):)

Happy, elated, proud. Get a sense of accomplishment and head right to the sewing room to start a new project.

it is almost anticlimatic - I enjoy the cutting and piecing and quilting so much that when the quilt is done - it is.....what????

Exhausted, all the adrenalin to get it done is gone. Sometimes I am enjoying a quilt so much I feel a little sad to not have it's beauty to enjoy so closely. Other times I am just relieved to have it done.

Don't know. I haven't finished one yet. Well, except for a single bed one that I made when my son went from the crib to a big boy bed and he's 36 now , will be in July. I have some tops started but not finished. I seem to have a block for finishing for one reason or another.
