I love the feeling when I'm done with a quilt. It means I can go onto the next. My only problem is that I give my projects away....I am looking for the perfect project to make and keep for myself. You know...something to have around to keep me warm as I grow old making quilts!

I see my mistakes and know they are there when I am finished but no one else seems to see them. So I figure it's a learning experience and I love seeing the look on the face of the recipient.

When I finish a quilt, I clean my sewing room--it's usually a mess before I start another project-- So I don't know if I am happy or not.

I feel sort of like I do when I finish a book or a movie. sometimes it is a mixture of glad to be done, glad to move forward, hating that it is over at the same time. Weird, Huh????

I have to say, so far I do not feel disapointment is my mistakes. I've only been quilting about a year and find so much joy and happiness just in being able to quilt. To actually take a lump of material and turn it into beauty. No, mine does not look like many, mine are not fancy, but to me they are beauties and for sure make me happy. I know that I know I've done the best job I could do at that moment and that is what is important. :)I am in no competition with any one but self. :) I love learning new ideas from many who post and the tutorials you leave, as well as surfing the web to keep learning. ahhh happiness is quilting. :)

Happy to have finished, glad it looks so nice and anxious to either start or finish the next one.

I am happy when I finish a quilt, but also somewhat relieved. Usually about half or two thirds of the way thru a quilt my mind wanders to something else that I am anxious to start and I have to force myself to finish the one I am working on
