If you're asking that question I hope everyone's ok.

The saliva trick works as long as it's your blood and your saliva. I just worked up enough to soak a cotton swap and just let it sit for couple seconds then lightly scrubbed the spot til it came out.

All above work great! Also for dried blood, have you tried Norwex? A little spritz and wah lah stain gone!

Just spit on it, it's like magic.
Only if it's your own blood.

[QUOTE=Zyngawf;6428651]It is on white fabric, but needless to say the whole quilt isn't white so bleach is out of the question.[/QUO
If the blood is a fresh stain wash it out with cold water. This usually works well. If the blood has been in the fabric for sometime, pour hydrogen peroxide on it and rub it out. Wash immediately.

IT WORKS! A cotton ball or sewing thread wet with your own saliva will change the blood stain. Only if it is your blood.

At one of quarterly potlucks, our guild had a guest teacher showing us how to do reverse applique, which involves a lot of hand sewing. She advised us to use our own saliva to remove our blood.

Peroxide is what vet tech's use to remove blood from clothing. Even colors
