    Yes it is a great book, I don't own it, but have checked it out my local library several times. Today Iam quilting log cabin blocks using the 3 layers and the stitch and flip method, I have already finished 16 of the 29 blocks I need, 25 for quilt and 4 for sham fronts. I have done this before the squares are 18 inches, but oh how I wish I wouldn't have to join all the backs by hand. I use the method outlined in a book from Beth Donaldson, called Block by block, which is what I have been doing on most of my quilts except the last.
