How Do You Know When To Take A Break
#71
The time I knew it was time to quit for the day was when I picked up my mini-iron by the wrong end - ouch!
The "timer" method works for me, too - I set it for about 30-45 minutes at a time.
My quilting triangle (cut-sew-press) is at three different heights, and spread out so that I can't just scoot around in my chair. I believe that just a little physical exercise can keep the brain sharper!

Time to take a break when I look up and can't see what I am looking at in the other room! My eyes stay focused on up close and take forever to "return to normal", if no break than a killer headache is in the making :?

I thought my sewing machine was broken because the fabric wasn't moving. It took me a few minutes before noticing that I had pinned the fabric to my sweatshirt! I think it's time for a break.
It's been a really bad day.
