I sort mine by color, almost everyone I know sorts theirs by color, and most of the pros even sort theirs by color. So why is it that the one thing I really, really dislike when shopping for fabric is an LQS that displays their fabrics by color!! Do you hear me Keepsake Quilting!!! *giggle*

I collect the pretty covered floral boxes that JoAnn's, TJ Maxx, Marshall's and Michael's sell. I divide up my stash by color, sometimes designer, sometimes theme (circles, stripes, children's fabric, etc.) Then I can easily locate what I am looking for. I store my projects in the ArtBin satchels and stack them. JoAnn's sells them for around $8 each on sale and they come in a rainbow of colors. My stash and projects stay beautifully protected and the boxes are always a pleasure to open!
