Ditto. I have a few bags that way. If I ever get organized, I'd like to buy some Rubbermaid containers to sort by size. That's a BIG "if".

I throw all mine into a basket. My DH emptied them into the bin recently (thinking they were rubbish) and I almost cried! I managed to salvage most of them and put them back in their basket where they will sit quite happily until I sort them. How stupid am I?

I don't sort my scraps, they go into a drawer, then into a big plastic container just waiting to go into that quilt I started a year ago but never finished lol.

I had two crates full of scraps so sorting thru I decided to cut larger scraps into 5 inch squares and strips into 2 1/2 inchs. I now have one crate of scraps instead of two and have even used alot of the 5inch squares.

Really though...I have been trying to cut them into strips and squares to use as beginners and enders.
That isn't working out too bad actually.
I don't sort by color. I just toss all into a basket for later...much later!

That's how I sort, Kirsten. I don't HATE scraps, but I am CONFUSED by them. It's like I'm waiting for this big lightning bolt of an idea to strike me. In some ways I consider myself OCD and want to oranize the chaos of the scraps.

Oh I love it. Maybe I could handle this one. That's if I can find another available door to hang the dang thing on.

Surfed around on the 'Net looking at pics that others posted of their stashes. Let me say, it's as bad as being in a fabric store-----OK, not THAT bad. I can't buy anything in someone else's picture! LOL
I don't sort by size or color. I buy fabrics with a project bundle in mind.
Talk about surfing and finding goodies in pics...it ain't the same as IRL, but it's a close second :P !
