It would have to be painted & prettied up though if it was going in my sewing room lol.

So what do all of you do? If you have pictures, that would be great. Thanks!
sorry, quiltncowgirl. no pictures but i am contemplating attaching a small magnet to each plastic template/ruler and using a metal file cabinet to slap them on when not in use...or will attach a horizonal metal strip to the wall, maybe behind door, like they use in kitchens for knives, and slap the template there for quick access. you know, in theory, sounds feasible, but in practical application i am sure there are bugs to be worked out. right now i have them on a little storage cabinet on a nonslip sheet and they lean against the wall. doesn't look too cool but handy. let me know what you do?

I saw a similar one on the QB and made one to fit my rulers. It is made of plastic mesh.

Mine are on an old shower curtain ( the sliver metal kind) that you can snap shut, hook then over a coat rack peg even the mats with handles.
Sissors and rotary cutters hang on an old banana holder on table next to machine.

I have a pegboard with hooks, that come in different sizes. I hang my rulers, my templates, rotary cutters, quilting stencils, etc.

I started out with a long wooded rack with slots for them to stand in which sits at the back of my table. After acquiring more rulers of various sizes and running out of room, I got a small wire office file rack with about 8 slots and keep the over flow in that on my table. I like having all of them at easy reach so I can easily select just the right one for any task.

My cutting mats that are not in use lay flat on a shelf and my main large one is always on my work table.

Thank you to everyone who has posted! Each of you have given me lots of ideas to work with. I have decided on a pegboard system & bought my supplies for it tonight. Now I have to enlist my husband's help to get it hung. Hopefully this weekend?
