My mats stay on my cutting table all the time. My rulers are all over the place even though I have a neat little rack for them!

Mine are sort of on the same idea as Jumpin Judy's. I have that decorative shelf with the bar...only I bought large key rings? that snap open....probably 2-3 in circles. I unsnap a ring, put on a couple of rulers using the holes that are on the rulers, ....depends on weight and size...snap it back shut, then hang it on one of the hooks that is attached to the rod of the decorative shelf. Clear as mud???? works great.

Definitely clear as mud! And I think you & JumpinJudy just solved my dilemna of how to get my husband to add hanging my pegboard to his list of projects. And my wish for some shelves to add to the decor of the room, like so many of you have. I am going to hang my pegboard from the hooks of the shelf! Waalaa! Took care of it myself & don't have to wait on the husband to finish his projects first.

I have my mats hanging on an over the door hooks (dh had to put a double strip of duct tape on the back sticky side to sticky side with 2 holes in it so it doesn't affect the mat) and rulers are in one of those wire file holers ( the kind that holds about 8 files) on the table

Thought--how about hanging a pot rack where you won't bang into it and hang them from there?
