My DD is a RN and the scrub hats are a big deal! Even for the Drs. They all want something unique. And they don't mind paying a big price for them either. I think getting the extra fabric as payment is an excellent idea.

    I'll never forget.....

I had a drastic surgery about 10 years ago. My very first vision as I opened my eyes was my main nurse who had this outlandish hat on. Brightened up my whole outlook and got me started thinking about how much fun life could be, instead of how bad I felt. These little things make such a huge difference.

well, OR nurses wear the same thing, every day, and the same thing as everyone else. Socks and hats are pretty fun!

How clever. Each person needs to be unique! Love the colors! Love the idea! Will have to talk to my nurse friends.

Now that I have told everyone in surgery about you, I will respond again. They are sooo cute. I love pigs (not real ones)(I have collected about 3000. My newest one is a pink pig with lights, red hat and scarf. Yes she is a yard ornament) so my first one will be from some pig fabric my son bought me for Christmas last year. The girls here wear hats to go with the seasons, holidays. My second will be Georgia Bulldogs and 3rd a Tennessee Vols. Imagine that two rivals in the same OR.
Thank-you again for your help. Emily Adair

I'm a nurse also, and used to work in L & D. Those would have been such fun caps to wear!
