Here's how i keep a cup of coffee warm while im busy quilting. My iron doesnt have auto shut off and since i cant always get to have a sip while im busy this works well for me. So when the iron isnt needed it can be put to good use in the meantime. Just thought i post a silly little something to share whith the rest of you. Chris :)

Just watch you don't burn your hand when you reach for your cup! (sorry, my Dad used to be Safety Monitor at work and I always see potential accidents waiting to happen! )

Very clever! Plus it keeps the coffee away from the sewing machine! Good idea that!!!

Too funny!!!!   Good for you Chris!!! I'll have to try that. Oh, I don't drink coffee! Besides, I have too many cats lying on the table while I'm sewing to keep the iron on! Nothing like the smell of scorched cat hair!

Maybe I should try that, not so much to keep it hot but to keep the cats away from my cup, they have a thing for tea, my mom used to have to bring a second cup for the cat so she could have the cup to herself.
